The corporate version of PayNow is now live and HSBC Singapore is one of the nine banks participating in this platform. PayNow Corporate is an enhanced funds transfer service that offers the potential to deliver significant efficiencies in how you send, receive and reconcile Singapore Dollar funds locally using an account alias.

Benefits of PayNow Corporate


PayNow Corporate supports funds transfers to beneficiaries 24 x 7 x 365 via FAST.


Make and receive payments easily with just a valid account alias - NRIC number, mobile number or UEN.


Funds transfers can now be made with just a valid account alias, minimising the need to share, collate and maintain bank account details.


Funds are credited within 5 minutes* and you will be able to get real-time updates on payment status via HSBCnet.


With real-time updates on payment status via HSBCnet, you will be able to confirm payments with certainty to your business partners and customers, reducing payment reconciliation tasks.


Utilise a QR code to facilitate collections – entities and consumers can now make PayNow transfers by scanning the PayNow QR code using their existing mobile banking applications.**

Receiving funds


Register your UEN as an alias and link it to an account with HSBC via HSBCnet. A 3 alpha-numeric suffix can be added to your UEN to create multiple PayNow aliases, linked to multiple accounts.


Once registered, display your UEN or QR code1 at your collection channels for your customers and business partners to make payments to you.


Funds will be credited to the account you have designated and transactions will be displayed on HSBCnet and your bank statements. Reconcile your collections easily with bank details provided.

Making payments


Login to HSBCnet and select payment using an alias (mobile number, NRIC number or UEN).


Review the nickname and confirm the payment. Request authoriser to approve payment.


Transaction will be processed through FAST. You can choose to receive an email/SMS payment confirmation via the payment advising functionality.

The option of scanning a QR code to make payments is available. Entities and consumers can now make PayNow transfers by scanning the PayNow QR code using the existing mobile banking applications of the participating banks.
